Advice on Credit Repair Companies that will help you obtain a home loan!?

Hi, I am trying to find a good credit repair company to get a home loan. I have spoken to someone at Performance Financial Solutions and Homepointe Financial? Anyone have any experience with either one? Are they scams? Thanks in advance! 
Oh, these companies will just take your money for something that you can easily do yourself.
So easy to fix credit – you just have to know how.

Get a book from your bookstore on Credit Repair.
Try the one “credit repair for dummies” – not really for dummies – very good.
It will tell you how to dispute correctly, negotiate with creditors, settle your debt, and even reduce interest rates.
They even have the secrets of pay on delete for those accounts that are one time charges.
Please be smart – spend a day reading through this book.
And have your credit reports handy.

They are a government agency to help you – no cost.
Go to the site, get their 800 number and ask for a local office near you.
These scam companies will do very little for you except take your money for something that you can do yourself with the help of a good book.
Fix your hair – go get a book today – and get smart.

They will charge you a fee to use their service, and you will still not be able to get a home loan.
Clean up your credit on your own. You don’t need a company that promises the moon and delivers only cheese! LOL
I can understand why post people would think that credit repair companies are a scam, because there is many many companies that will promise you the world.. And I can understand why there is so many people who do not believe in credit repair companies.
I was the same way, But fortunately I have had credit repair done on my credit report. The results? have been AWESOME!. I was looking for the same exact reason. I wanted to raise my scores in order to be able to purchase a home.
My beginning scores when i started were experian 410 equifax 450 transunion 425. Now my scores are 680,714, 696.
Major Improvement! I think in a very short amount of time.. Im happy with the results. I had to sift through plenty of bad companies. Im glad i found the right one.
